GCCF Standard of Points for Ocicats and Ocicat Classics
When competing in shows, each breed recognised by the GCCF is judged against a 'standard of points' (SOP). The SOPs for the Ocicat and Ocicat Classic are the same except where they refer to pattern.
The SOPs lay out what the judges should be looking for, and give them a framework on which to judge each exhibit against other exhibits of its breed. A basic points system also gives the judges some method of comparing two exhibits from different breeds.
